Tom Spurgeon, noted comic book journalist, pundit, historian, editor, writer, and Eisner-Award winner, passed away on November 13, 2019 at the age of 50.

I was lucky enough to meet him once, over eggs, bacon and coffee, the morning before a Toronto Comics Arts Festival (TCAF) event.
