One of the most critically acclaimed science fiction films of all time finds itself in a new comic book series – for the first time (sort of)! Blade Runner 2019 #1 is the first issue of a new twelve-issue miniseries that, for the first time, expands upon the cinematic universe from which the series originates. the series is written by screen writer Michael Green (Blade Runner 2049, Aliens: Covenant) and comic book scribe Mike Johnson (Batman/Superman, Supergirl, Star Trek) and lavishly illustrated in a future-nor style by Andres Guinaldo (Justice League Dark, Captain America). And, like it’s familiar namesake, it’s stunning!
