The greatest of great crossovers happens today with the release of the first issue of Black Hammer/Justice League: Hammer of Justice miniseries, written by Jeff Lemire and illustrated by Michael Walsh. Perhaps most importantly, the series brings together world famous characters from DC Comics in Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, along with creator-owned characters like Madame Dragonfly and Colonel Weird from the Black hammer universe over at Dark Horse Comics. It’s a bit of a big deal…once that’s relatively unheard of in the comic book publishing industry!
