There’s been a lot of excited chatter regarding industry favourite writer Brian Michael Bendis leaving his long time home of Marvel Comics to join rival DC Comics. But that chatter centers around the world-renowned superhero, Superman. Indeed, Bendis is joined by acclaimed illustrated Ivan Reis for a brand new monthly series, appropriately titled, Superman #1.

DC Comics, of course, is fully behind the character, creative team and title, even putting together a 30-second advertisement to show their enthusiasm.
